QUADRAVERB REVERB IMPULSE RESPONSE PACK VOL. 1

The QuadraVerb Reverb Impulse Response Pack Vol. 1 delivers 300 reverb impulse responses captured from my own personal early 1990s Alesis QuadraVerb unit.

Each IR was recorded in 96kHz / 32-bit float for maximum resolution and dynamic range. The files provided are delivered in uncompressed .WAV format with three versions per preset: left channel (mono), right channel (mono), and full stereo. This gives you the flexibility to process channels independently or use the ready-made stereo file for convenience, thus ensuring broad compatibility across convolution reverb plugins and workflows.

This pack offers a wide range of authentic reverb textures with Decay settings spanning from 05 to 99 on the original hardware. All captures use consistent parameters for Density and Diffusion, which are both set to 05, to maintain uniformity across the dataset while showcasing the unit’s evolving character across time-based values. The result is a detailed and faithful snapshot of the QuadraVerb’s unique digital character which defined the sound of the late '80s and early '90s.

This pack is perfect for ambient producers, shoegaze artists, space rock enthusiasts, or anyone seeking vintage digital reverb with hardware grit.

REVERB TYPE SETTINGS INCLUDED IN THIS PACK:

• CHAMBER: Simulates a fairly reflective room, such as a small performance chamber, and can be effective for general reverb duties.
• HALL: Simulates the large acoustic space of a concert hall, which has a high amount of diffusion and provides a very smooth decay.
• PLATE: Simulates the effect of a large metal plate reverb, characterized by a very smooth sound with high initial diffusion.
• REVERSE: A reverb in which the envelope of the reverb is reversed, meaning the reverb gradually increases in volume and then ends abruptly.
• ROOM: Simulates the ambience of a room, effective in recreating a small and confined space sound.
